Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical and experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and controls. The role ensures strong governance, regulatory compliance, and profitability across payment services, merchant operations, and financial products.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Develop financial models to support growth and new product initiatives
- Partner with business teams to improve revenue performance and cost efficiency
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant regulatory requirements
- Manage reporting to regulators and key stakeholders
- Support internal and external audit processes
3. Revenue & Profitability Management
- Analyze profitability across products and services
- Monitor key revenue streams (fees, MDR, commissions, interest income)
- Support pricing strategy development
- Evaluate new business opportunities and partnerships
4. Treasury & Liquidity Management
- Oversee cash flow and liquidity positions
- Manage settlements, reconciliations, and fund flows
- Support asset-liability management activities
- Optimize working capital efficiency
5. Risk Management & Controls
- Implement and monitor financial control frameworks
- Identify financial and operational risks and recommend mitigations
- Ensure AML and fraud compliance requirements are met
- Collaborate with audit and risk teams
6. Merchant & Partner Management
- Oversee merchant settlements and reconciliations
- Manage revenue-sharing agreements and contracts
- Track merchant performance and unit economics
- Support structuring of commercial agreements
7. Cost Management & Efficiency
- Monitor and optimize operational costs
- Analyze cost-to-income ratios and drive improvements
- Support procurement and vendor evaluation processes
8. Systems & Reporting
- Utilize financial systems, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Improve data accuracy, consistency, and automation
- Support integration with banking and payment systems
